What doctor should I see for this: WOMEN ONLY PLEASE?!

Question: Ok I get these little bumps that are at the edge of my "area" and they sometimes hurt. I keeps getting them and had them coming for 2 years now. I don't know what it is. I went to the regular doctor and they just tell me that it is a cist all the time. Should I see a different doctor or take something because I am getting sick of these and they do sometimes hurt! Also they come around in the same spots.

Go to the gyno. They might be nothing, but best to have tests done to make sure. Sometimes there are harmless cysts that come and go but you need to be sure. Bartholin's gland cysts can be painful but are common and not due to infection - they just happen.

Not everything is herpes etc...Seriously, see a doctor. Yahoo is not where you should get medical info. People will just tell you it's an STD and will get you panicked. There are a lot of things that can go wrong down in that area. Men have it easy!

you should see a gynecologist, just so you can be sure what they are!

i think its eaither an std or your docters right why would they lie?get checkd for stds?could it be warts?do you bleed with pus and blood when you pop it?

Could be an inflamed hair follicle. Do they show up after shaving?

I'd see a gynecologist. They may simply refer you to a dermatologist.

dermatologist

definately go see a gynocoligist darl!

Go to a gynecologist. Also, you can ask for a female doctor if you are uncomfortable with male doctors.

You need to be checked by a gynocologists. They will be very helpful. I had something like that in my teens and I had to have them removed with surgery. Sometimes all you need is medicine. Good luck.

maybe its herpes? have u been checked for these? also has ur partner been chcked? sounds like it could be so make an appointment with ur OB-GYN

You need to see a Gynecologist. Make sure you have these bumps visible when you go to the doctor because it's important for the doctor to see them.

see a gynecologist. they will tell you what it is

Sorry

Have you went to a gynecologist?

need to go to a gynocologist, dear.
Probably not anything really... some women get clogged ducts and follicles down there. But it's always best to be safe.

Make sure that you are keeping the area clean every day as that can help too.

Seek another opinion.

It sounds like it might be herpes. You should see your doctor when you have an "out break" that way your dr can tell you specificly what they are

not a girl but deal.

i would see a gynocologyst bout that, you never know, it could be a cist, it could also be something like herpies or something bad, i dont know you sexual history, so i wont judge, but i would talk to someone who knows about "outbreaks" in your "area"

might be your best bet

Do you shave at all? If you do they could be ingrown hairs.
If not, it's possible that they are completely normal, I notice that there are little bumps at the front of my vaginal.. but they are normal and have been there forever.. they arn't red and don't hurt (although they would if you were constantly picking at them or rubbing them). I say go to your doctor again, or go to another doctor and get a second opinion if they are really bothering you.

Do they swell? Could be a Bartholin's abscess, or a blocked sweat gland. If you aren't happy, see a different doctor, or ask to be referred to a gynaecologist if you aren't getting the answers you need.

Is this A.G.?

See a gynecologist if you can. If they hurt they could be anything!
I'm thinking some sort of allergic rash, hive, possibly herpes, if they really annoy you then take action.

Itchingly, Annie

No one is too young to have STDs! What you're describing sounds like it could be irritated from either shaving or waxing, but you should DEFINITELY go see a gyno!

Maybe you're irritating yourself somehow and causing pimples. next time you see your doctor ask! it also might be you're not washing yourself very well. use a soft soap to clean yourself.

just to start, there is no age that is "too young" for an std....if you are sexually active then you can get one.....STD's do not discriminate against age......but if you have seen one dr and they are tellin you that it is a cyst, then it probably is, for a second opinion you do need to see a gyno...try getting a wash cloth with the hottest water you can stand and applying it to the area, this should help bring it to a head if it is a cyst......one other thing it could be, if it is something that keeps coming back, is a boil.....if this is what it is you really do need to be treated!

Your OB/GYN should be able to tell you what it could be. My girlfriend gets those. They could be ingrown hair. If they are painful and that close to the pubic region, try seeing your OB/GYN.

Herpes can be hereditary! If a family member(even if it was a great great great grandma or grandpa)ever had it then you can!
