If your doctor believes that you have chlamydia than there are symptoms that he/she believes are associated with it. For instance your cervix could have exhibited signs of infection. You are able to get chlamydia only through sexual intercourse. If you had unprotected sex with someone who was infected there is a good chance that you are infected as well. You never having sex before does not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases. If you are indeed infected than the person with whom you had sex with was infected with the bacteria and thus transferred it to you. There is no other mode of transmission.

Good news for you is that it can be treated with a simple round of antibiotics. You can be reinfected at any time if you continue to have an unprotected sexual relationship with the person who originally infected you. Please practice safer sex practices. Use a condom every time you have sex regardless of what the person tells you about their health status or sexual history. This time you were lucky in getting something that can be cured with a pill. Next time you may not be so lucky.

first: learn to spell.
2nd: if the doc thinks you have it, you have it. one of your partners was lying to you.

Learn how to spell/speak english, please.
If your doctor thinks that you have it, then you do.
If your partners say they have never had sex, then they were lying.

No you can't get it if neither of you have had sex before but seeing that the doctor thinks you have it someone lied!!! Don't freak you will get a huge dose of antibiotics to take after that you should practicfe sex and don't just trust what your partner tells you remember what they want and they do what ever to get it most of the time take care and good luck!!!

you should really book yourself in at your local health clinic... i thought i might have chlamydia a few months ago and it got me thinking that anyone could have given it to me... i booked myself in, and my current boyfriend for a full STD screening and when the results came out negative it was a huge load off my mind...
i wouldnt worry if you are possitive because chlamydia takes years to do much damage, you just get given some pills to take and within a few weeks you are clear,
good luck, all the best!
