Can my periods be irregular after a medical abortion?!
Question: i had a medical abortion on jan 4 this year ,and had my first period after the abortion on feb 3,which contained pretty heavy flows . before the abortion , my periods always came regularly , and now it's 4 day later than its usual 28 days cycle...i wonder if it's normal to have irregular periods after an abortion ?

Yes it can. It is probably just the change in you hormone levels due to the pregnancy. Even though you did not have the baby your bodies hormones are going to take sometime to get regular. You may find that they never go back to a constant cycle. It is usually nothing to worry about. If you want a constant cycle get on birth control it regulates your hormones. Also most women don't have a 28 day cycle it is usually between 24-30 days or something like that mine changes every month.
I think so. My friend did after she had one. The first few were super heavy and had alot of cramps. It evened out though. She now has a healthy baby so it didn't affect her long term.

Yes, your cycles can take awhile to regulate. If you continue to have problems you should see a doctor.
I know so many people who can't have kids...my friend had a miscarriage last month and was devestated.
Sorry, but an abortion is an unnatural thing to do to your body, and it's not safe.

Pregnancy is pretty unsafe for a lot of people too.

The abortion disrupted your normal cycle, causing your body to start a new cycle.
Give yourself some time to return to a normal cycle.
