Vaginal bleeding?!

Question: I was having sex last night with my partner and after having penatritive sex he used a vibrator on me, after around 10 mins i started to bleed.
The bleeding lasted around 5 minutes and quite a lot came out but after I had a shower i was ok,
(i know this is a bit grim but) it was not like period blood.
I think something tore but as it hasnt happened to me before i would like to know if this is likely to be the case.
I dont currently have a doctor so would need to go to the hospital and to be frank, i dont really want to have a gyny exam if its just a tear that can be sorted.
Would really like some advice.

Thanks in advance

It is possible that he 'caught' you with his fingernail and tore the skin. Vaginal tissue is more delicate than tissue on the outside of the body.
If the bleeding has completely stopped then I would say you probably do not need to be seen. Avoid sex for a few days to allow healing. Keep an eye open for any possible infection developing, i.e. any discharge or any feeling of being unwell or feverish (any wound can become infected). If you are still having any bleeding or if you have any signs of infection then you will need to be assessed by a doctor. If you are in the UK then you can always call NHS Direct who can help you access a GP rather than you having to go to a hospital. Their number is 08454647. Good luck

I'm pretty sure your hymen broke. It usually bleeds when it brakes. This means your not a virgin anymore! Nothing to worry about, just search it on google

If you just finished or about to start your period it could be from that. I've never heard of tearing after a vibrator. Unless you are in pain it's probably no big deal. Just tell your partner to be a little more gentle. Any chance he scratched you at any point?

I bleed after sex that includes toys. Sometimes when we are so into it, we get lost in the fact that it's too rough. That old saying "hurts so good". You have tons of blood vessles down there and you get rough with them and they burst. Just take it easy for a few days and let them heal up. You're fine.

it was just too rough with not enough lubricatin. just a small tear, nothing to be too worried about, espeically since it stopped.

next time, just go buy some lube, it will be worth it anyways :)
