Aw you poor girl. Your mum will completely understand. Just take mum aside when its quiet and say ' mum, i have started my periods, can you help me'. Please do it- she won't be embarassed or mad- she will be so pleased you have gone to her for help. She would be horrified if she thought you couldn't tell her. If you really feel you cannot tell her face to face then write a little note and put it where only she will read it- on her pillow for bedtime or something.

Dont be shy..every girl has one.Just sit her down and tell her you started..she will be happy and tell her your nervous(if you are) ..im sure she will be more than happy to help you.

Just openly tell her that you think youve started your period, shes already been through this herself and knows exactly what your going through!

???

I just used to say 'i'm on again grr'..but yeah, you don't have to let her know?

You say, Mom I have something to tell you. I need feminine hygene products.

Don't worry, you probably won't need to, she will guess it. She's probably waiting for it to happen any second now!

By the way, it's "when" and not "went".

Good luck!

Dont tell her. She dont have to know. Just buy your own pads with your money.

omg
i totally know how you feel
i was really embrassed

i just said mom i think i started my period
but im not sure

lol

every girl has them and ur mum would have had to tell her mum at the time. just say it, either sit her down n tell her or just say it in passing conversation

Tell her over the phone or in the car, so you don't have to make eye contact. It will make you feel better when you don't have to look at her.

if i were you take a pair of pant you hate and let them get a little bloddy i know its gross but listen to where im going......
walk past her and ave her notice shell pronbloy take you aside and have a little chat but that way you wont have to start the convo or just come out and tell her dont be shy it happens to everyone... well not guys but ya know what i mean!lol!
GOOG LUCK!

Just say hey mom i have my period. Dont worry about telling her that. Saying you have your period at 12 is much much better than saying hey im preggers

Every girl goes through it (including your mom). I know it can be a little weird to tell her, but your mom can help you decide what kind of products to use (tampons/pads) and can buy them for you discreetly. Your period doesn't have to be a big deal and nobody ever has to know it's that time of the month. All of the girls at school are going through the same thing right now too. 12 is a completely normal time for all of this to happen.

MY DAUGHTER DIDNT WANT TO TELL ME EITHER, SHE TOLD HER AUNTIE WHO SHE IS CLOSE TO.
I think it is only because she was embarrassed thats all, and when you go shopping with her say mum which ones of these are best point to sanitary towels, then she will know. Id say do it before you start your period as you never know when you will. best to be prepared, she will be happy you went to her i felt bad when my daughter didnt come to me i can understand why she was embarassed but i felt bad still.
use another expression time of the month and get a supply of chocolate as my daughter does and a hot water bottle.

just sit her down and say to her mum now dont go gettin too exited :p but ive started my period and if yuu dont want anyone else in your family to know just let your mum know that , but just remember you only have to tell your mum when you want to i hope it all goes well :D
