Breast Reduction Surgery?!

Question: My girlfriend is considering breast reduction surgery for this summer. She is really depressed because she realized her real bra size. She thought she was a 44 DD... she is a G.

I love to hit the gym and have a pretty athletic body and would love her to experience what I have. She is constantly depressed, has insomnia, panic attacks, and has very low self esteem. I figure most of this stems from poor body image. I think she looks great now but that's just me...

Anyway, should I convince her to take the surgery and follow it up with a cardio plan and healthy 3-4 meals a day? Or should I just back off and let her be? I may spend a great deal of my future with this girl (marriage) if she would care about her health. Her family has a history of diabetes and I have a history of long life. I am not living to 92 and having a dead wife at 52...

Suggestions?

Let her be, this is her body not yours.

Even if she would lose weight, she will still have huge breasts, they will just possibly sag IF she loses in the breast at all! (Breasts ARE NOT all fat, btw, they are fat AND dense breast tissue).

She would greatly benefit from it, and it will help her be able to work out better.

I went from a 38J to a 38C and it is so much easier for me to work out now, you cannot imagine.

Send her to this site as well:

It helped me out a LOT before and after surgery!

okay i would definately tell her that you think she could be happier.

Often times women with overly large breasts do suffer from thoose symptoms. if she is unhappy i would give her suggestions. DO NOT FORCE HER TO DO ANYTHING. If you do that will just depress her more.

I would suggest just going in for a conceltation with a doctor to see her options.

Large breast size does not mean that she needs to excersize more and eat healthier. It might insult her if you say that. but hey you know you're girlfriend better than me.

How will having big breasts make her die at 52???

Her breasts are the same size as mine, and I exercise every day and am quite fit. You just wear a couple of good sports bras and do low-impact exercise.

I eat healthily and when I had a test for diabetes, my score was so good my doctor is going to show it to other patients to encourage them.

Really, there's no reason why having large breasts has to mean you are unhappy, unhealthy or unfit, or feel bad about yourself.

I'm not saying "No she must not ever get surgery", but at least TRY other things first. Surgery should be an absolute last resort when all else has failed.

KEEPS THOSE BABES NICE AND BIG
