I broke my hymen myself once because this guy I really liked pressured me into doing it, he made it sound like if I ever do have sex it will be dirty and bloody cuz my hymen is not broken, so i broke it...it's something I regret but I never had sex after...And I still have never had sex....am I a virgin still?

yes because you havent had sex. the hymen just represents it. many people break it beforehand so it's no big deal =)

You probably forced it open a little, and yes that would hurt a lot. Probably a whole lot more than sex ever would have. Well, the good news is you're alive, probably because you only used your fingers. What you did is approximately what women who were trying to self-abort used to do, except they'd usually use a knitting needle or something and end up perforating their uterus. And a lot of them died.
Not that it matters a lot in comparison, but your hymen is right at the entrance to the vagina, not way up there. It may even be intact, because they tend to get stretchier the older you get.
If this happened a long time ago, you've probably healed, but I think you should go to a gynecologist for an exam to be sure. You really can tell them anything, they've heard it all.
