I don't know what might cause it. Like the doctors said it coudl just be from wiping and your daughter is sensitive.

Metanium (dunno if it is in the US if thats where you are) is a fantastic rash ointment. My mum used it on my baby sister when her skin around down there and by her bum was close to breaking down it was very sore and red and sometime bled. After a couple of days the rash had near enough gone. Its yellow so i suggest you do it before she goes to bed as asposed to doing it during the day but i do highly recommend it.

Also bepanthem is good but Metanium woudl be my first recomendation....

Maybe allergy from laundry soaps or the soap she uses I could never give my girls bubble bath it irrated them down there make sure she isnt drinking alot of pop

what i would do is take her to another child doctor cause the one she is seeing cant help her, then i would buy some cream for my husband for his athletes foot and jock itch, then i would clean my shower after ever use with soft scrub with bleach.

hello

This can be many things, and first of all drinking loads of pop can really irritate down there ( when i was younger thats what our doctor said), second thing is it could be the fabric softner, but as you explained jock itch could be a very good possibility go up to your doctor and discuss this issue

Best wishes

Don't do your daughter's laundry with yours for about one week and see what happens. Does your husband walk bare feet in the house? Does your daughter sit on the floor close to your husband's feet? Did you change your laundry soap? Try a mild soap for your daughter's clothes. Or is your daughter using the same soap you that you are using. See if she has her own soap if that is going to make a difference. Did your doctor give you a cream for your daughter?
