I'm in the same boat with you...I had one almost 15 years ago now...I still remember the date and mourn it just like you would a relative that has passed on. I've read alot of self help books in dealing with this. It really has helped me though. Also you might think about talking to a mental health professional. Anything is worth a try. Theres no need to continue to beat yourself up over it, it happened and it's done. You can't turn back time, only learn from it. Good luck, and I hope I helped some.
I know how you feel, I had one 12 years ago and now have 2 beautiful children. I dont think about it often but when I do I feel very bad. I'm not sure what your faith is but I'm afraid God will not forgive me I hope he does. If I knew then what I know now I probobly would not have done it, but we all have out own reasons. My reason was my boyfriend at the time ( we were together for 5 years) was a heroin addict (a closet heroine addict) very smart guy but very f**ked up. I was not on drugs but I didnt think I'd be able to bring a baby into this world at 18 years old with an addict as a father, plus I thought there would be something wrong with the baby. I dont know at the time I thought I could justify it but now I feel awful. Sorry to keep rambling. Take care.
i had one 4 years ago. its kinda sad to think i cud of had a four year old running around but then i think the downside of it.. i wud of been in a hard place i wud of been struggling so i feel i made the rite decision.
