Need advice from Women plz?!

Question: I had a breast reduction on 1 boob around 6 yrs ago, lost 3 stone in weight afterwards. I've put nearly 1 stone back on since stopping smoking.
The problem is- That boob is soooo sore and tender just lately, even when i just touch it or take off my bra.Could this be to do with the weight i've put back on, scar tissue or something else?
Don't really want to go wasting doctors time. My nipple is the most tender.

It could be mastitis (inflammation of the breast) which I think is simply treated with antibiotics. Go to your GP asap to put your mind at rest and get out of pain. More info here:

You've lost weight and gained some back so most likely the breast is growing to accomodate the new tissue.

please go and have this checked out, it is no good sitting worrying about it, act now please, hope all is ok.

since its been 6 yrs, it probably doesn't have anything to do with your reduction, but there are lots of other thing that can cause pain. i would suggest that if its not getting better, or starts getting worse, or you start getting a strange discharge go to your doc immediately.
also, something else ALL women should know, but many don't, is about another type of breast cancer. it can look like a rash, and the rash can come and go, it also doesn't show up on a mammogram because its not a lump, it is spread out. usually by the time people figure out its cancer, they are in such late stages there is no hope. please do not worry about wasting your doctors time, and always trust your instincts.

I think if it doesn't improve over the next day or two u should go and see a doc because its only in the boob u had operated on. If it was hormones or periods or whatever both would hurt. And if it was from putting on weight it wouldnt really be your nipple hurting. Dont want to be freaking u out like but see your doctor if it doesn't dissapear or improve over the next day or two. Its probably not serious like but it might put your mind at ease if u find out from a specialist because your obviously worried about it.

Both breasts are their own separate operation. Each heals and responds differently. Just because you feel something on one side and not the other is no reason for alarm. Are you right handed? Is it your right breast? Using and moving one arm over the other one will impact that breast from feeling more sore.

Also, make sure you position your breasts in your bra properly and don't have it bent or pressed. Make sure you are wearing the right sized bra and the straps are adjusted correctly.
