X[ dark red BIG gooey globs?!
Question: in my period.
i just started two days ago.
and i have a REALLY heavy flow and just a couple minutes ago there was a squirt noise and a gooey red glob came out.
is this normal?! im really scared. (im 13. 2.20.1995 is my birthdate.)

Yes, those are blood clots!
When I first got them, I was like EW GROSS and they feel really wierd coming out.
Now I know it's just a thick mucusy glob of blood tissue. It's like a big bloody snot. No big deal, just becareful and wear heavy pads cause they can really destroy your underwear.

The tissue that lines your uterus sheds during your period. Its called the endometrium....That is what you're seeing. It not really blood clots, rather tissue.
