There's an over the counter remedy called Hyland's 24, available in pharmacies and health food stores. It's for cramps. The pills are teensy, easy to swallow, they're really fabulous, and they aren't harmful! I wish I'd found them years ago, but didn't find them until recently! Follow the dosage directions, and hopefully they'll work for you as they did for me!

take a hot bath and stretch a little.
or you could try putting a hot pack on whatever hurts.

good luck!

I find sipping on hot herbal tea with a little honey eases the pain. Drink a lot of water. Put a heating pad on your abdomin. Elevate the legs (my mother taught me that one and it helps).
I usually get horrific pains and I've learned to relax the body and stay in the same position until the pain is gone.
I'm also taking Evening Primrose, which from reviews say take away most of your period pain. It takes a few months to work. But it's also good to clear up acne, eczema and IBS symptons.

I always drink peppermint tea. Theres also Yogi tea and organic teas out there specially designed for menstrual cramps. go to your grocery store! Also, hot pads are great. If its really bad, you might just have to take IBprofin, or midol (dont get the teen pills, if yours are that bad, take the adult perscription). Also, dont eat foods that might make you gassy, or upset your stomach! i've also had friends who went on the pill because their cramps were REALLY bad.
