Burning sensation during sex?!

Question: I have this strange vaginal burning during sex, I always get very moist so that's not the problem. I just got checked for STD's and I was all clear so what could be causing the problem? It still feels good, but the burning makes it uncomfortable to go for long periods of time

Firstly, well done on getting a full STD check. I'm glad to hear all was clear.

As already mentioned, this could simply be a result of some minor vaginal tearing or abrasions. This can happen as a matter of course, or particularly as a result of rough sex.

Also check out your lubricant (and condoms if you are using them).

a) to make sure that you are not allergic to one of the ingredients in the lubricant or condoms (you may need to follow this up with your doctor and get allergy tested)

b) there are alot of products on the market that are deliberately designed to give a 'warming sensation'. Check that the lubricant/condoms you are using is not one of these. You may find you are simply over sensative to this sort of product.

Sometimes you can get little abrasions, even with lube, and the pH of the semen causes a burning sensation in the "wound". Quite common, if you are clear of STD's I wouldnt be worried

if you use lubrication than that could be the problem because my gf and i used lube and it burnt her so yeah good luck with that
