Is it normal to have a heavy period on Balziva (birth control pill)?!
Question: I just started taking Balziva, a higher dose than the yaz birth control that I was on. I am on the second pack, and I am on my period.... I think the 5th or 6th day of my period and I thought my period was over until it came back all heavy, so is it normal because I am new to the pill. I went to doctor to talk about it, but does anyone had experience with Balziva.

Birth control pills are usually supposed to make periods regular and to also make your periods lighter and to help with cramping.
I still have heavy bleeding with my periods on the pill too (I am on a low dose pill). My gyno said that my heavy periods could be because of endometriosis, but then again he said that it could just be the way my body is because I have always had heavy periods.
You said that you talked to your doctor, what did he/she say? I would recommend that you discuss this with your doctor and if they don't know why this is happening to perhaps get a second opinion from another doctor.
