i have a disease called polycystic ovary disease and yes it causes chronic infertillity every pregnancy ive had has ended in miscarriage but there is help you docs can put you on meds to control this disorder as well as the side effects making it possible to obtain a healthy pregnancy..speak to your doctor about treatment..some of the common treatment options are to give you a med called clomid its a fertility med but this does not solve the ovarian cysts it just gets you pregnant the doctor will decide treatment from there!
They could prevent you from getting prego but it would have to block the tubes and such. I dont know that anyone knows what causes them.
yes. It is important to talk to your family doctor or gynecologist about this. My husband and i tried for nearly a decade before we found out i had ovarian cysts. Had them removed, and had our daughter 11 mos. later!

I have polycystic ovaries, which is a whole lot of little cysts - each time you ovulate the egg doesn't pop out properly and you get the cysts. This is different from the big cysts you get which have to be removed. Polycystic ovary syndrome can have other symptoms - a bit of hairiness, sometimes on your chest, weight gain etc. Sometimes you can stop it by losing 5% of your body weight, but that's not always the case. Because you are not ovulating properly, it can affect your fertility, but that's not always so. I got pregnant even with contraception!! You'd be surprised how many women still can have kids. But if it's big cysts you have to have removed it's not Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and I can't give you any info. Good luck!! :)
Yes my friend has that and hers burst and she just so happened to get pregnant when it burst!
