No, every women stops their period around 50, (menopause)
And yes, you are normal. Dont worry. Periods happen because of what is in the genes And genetics. Dont worry your tottally normal. Your friends are just late bloomers (because like i said, its in the genes + genetics, they are taking after the people in their family) there is nothing to worry about

Everyone starts at a different time, usually between the ages of 9-16. Don't worry that was normal.

You will just go through menopause earlier than most women. But you can get it as young as nine, and as old as eighteen.
If you want a family, you should start young. :]
I was 11 and have a normal period now, and Im 28.. Everyones differant some just reach puberty faster. Dont worry your fine.
i started around the same time so dont worry about it... its just how your body clock is set, some start late some start early.
Unfortunately, I don't think it will stop any sooner than someone who starts at 18. Unfair eh? Mine started when I was 11 and all my friends didn't start until way later (I got to deal with all their questions haha). You are a little on the early side (like me) but it's normal! No worries!!

i was 9 when my came... dont let people scare you because there's nothing wrong with you... i would talk to your doctor about your concerns... also, getting your period early DOES NOT automatically mean you'll go through menopause early.
I started mine at 10. It means that your body is more mature than everyone else's. It also means that you will be done with puberty before others (so you'll get rid of zits before all of your friends!!) Because I had mine so early, my doctor treated me like an adult when it came to medications and everything else.
