OK, this is going to sound weird, but the secret is....deodorant. I shave all the time and used to have the same issue until a friend suggested i try this. As soon as I'm done shaving, i rub or roll on the deodorant and it really does work. Sorry, it won't help much right now, but try it next time! I swear by it!

those bumps are razor burn and you're shaving over it so im assuming thats why it hurts.
just wait a couple weeks for it to heal and the bumps will go away.

YOu probably irritated the skin. Try a different creme. After you are done put on some benedryl gel, then some rash medicine such as cortizone 10. Let it heal before you shave again.

Ugh razor burn! I used to do the same thing, but it just became to painful, and nasty... Waxing may hurt and it bleeds for the first little bit, but it works out muchhhhhhh better!

Oh man shaving down there's a ***** haha
but use coco butter after you get out of shower and it will moisturize it and get rid of the bumps. Im not sure why it hurts, but it could easily be because its your first time or because your using shaving cream and too sharp of a razor. Normal soap or body wash or even conditioner works and make sure you shave down, and not up!

You probably gave yourself razor burn, you shouldnt try shaving again till it clears up.. I use any aloe product it cools and is instant relief... Maybe next time try a differant razor and use a good lathered soap instead of the shaving cream.

they are razor burns and ingrown hairs, why don't u just use nair, it's like a lotion to put on there~

its normal for it to itch and hurt the first time the little red bumps are probably ingrown hairs if your tried to shave long hair, you should try to trim the hair first and then shave. after you shave a few times it will get better just make sure you dont try to reshave areas then you will irritate your skin and dry it out which you might have done

the skin in your pubic region is extremely sensitive and it sounds like you aggravated it quit a bit. sometimes when you shave soft skin like what is found on your pubis, the razor creates tiny cuts that are too small to be seen but big enough to hurt. shaving your pubic hair can also cause the hair to become ingrown and become infected which will hurt much worse than razor burn. you may want to consider letting your hair grow out a bit then use an at home waxing kit. it can be a bit painful but it's very quick and there's no chance of cutting yourself and causing an infection.
