Pads and Tampons and bags to put them in when you throw them out.

You should change your tampon every 4-8 hours otherwise there is a BIG risk of toxic shock syndrome which can make you VERY ill and infertile!

tampons, pads, maybe some of those little wipe things...

Well im 14 and ive started! what i do is this ...

i take a little bag like a make up bag or something [ so people think its got make up in it! ] and have a couple of pads or tampons.

hope this helps?

xxx

carry a pad or tampon with you, and a change of underwear (in case of leakage...)

All you need is to carry a sanitary towel and wipes. You can get them as a duo so your all set with one in your bag for accidents. You can also carry a spare pare of knickers. Nothing else needed.

im 13 so i know all about it :P
just say always carry pads with you
at first you dont have an exact time scale of when and how long your on for.
any other questions ?

Got a link for you to check out

either pads or tampons .. n some midol for the cramps .n n extra pair of undies jsut in case it leaks

um... its what you'd expect, some blood(a bitta pain and stress), a sanitry towel, put in a scented bag, throw it away. But if you're that stuck then why not seatch google because you get those sex education sites, just copy from that lol.

What if I'm at school? Encourage your daughter to carry a pad or tampon in her backpack or purse, just in case. Many school bathrooms have coin-operated dispensers for these products. The school nurse also may have supplies.

Most girls will use pads at least for their first period. Your first period will probably be fairly light so Always Thin Maxi Regular or Always Thin Ultra Regular would be a good choice of pad. If you are physically small, you may want to consider Always Thin Ultra Slender. It's a good idea to keep a pad or two hidden in your locker at school, and carry another in your backpack. This way you won't be caught off guard when it does happen.

a spare pair of knickers and a sanitary towel, unless you are going to use a tampon. and maybe a feminine wipe.

Write done that if they do start their period, that they should go to an adult thta they trsut, or if their shy about it, a Female adult they trust.
In the kit you should have, tampons, pads,a instrcution guide for inserting the tampon(If comes with every box.), Panty liners, new pair of underwear maybe, and some tissue?

Just sanitary towels or tampons! lol maybe some fem wipes would help, theres just like baby wipes! panty liners for just before you come on...and when your coming off.
hope that helps hunny, i know how your feeling, i ever started until i was 15 so i didnt have a clue either.

Include different menstrual options a girl could have in her kit - rather than just saying tampons and pads maybe also mention safer and more convenient options such as menstrual cups, softcups, sponges, organic tampons and cloth pads. Maybe mention if a girl uses a cup she doesn't have to carry anything with her as they can be used when not on your period so she can put it in when she thinks she might get her period. See this article by a teenage girl about different options - http://www.vegetarianbaby.com/articles/o...

Maybe look at kits different companies put together, in fact there is an article on first period kits, along with links to other first period kits, here - http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/health/340... - this includes companies such as;

Fanciepants - http://fanciepants.com/starters.php
Dot girl - http://www.dotgirlproducts.com
Mypetiteamie - http://www.mypetiteamie.com/store.php
Lunapads teen kit - http://www.lunapads.com/product.aspx?Pro...

So kits include things like pads/cups/tampons/sponges, a carry case, calendar to note when she got her period or other symptoms so she can keep track, clary sage which is an essential oil you rub into your tummy to stop cramps that works better than painkillers, scented bags to throw used products away, a change of underwear just in case she leaks, a pre-made note to give parents to tell them she has her first period in case she is too scared to tell them up front, etc.

Another site to check out would be http://www.debuinc.com with is all about a girls first period, including things for the girl and her parents, how to tell parents, what to expect and ideas to celebrate her first period. Include how important is a girl celebrates her period, and how important menstrual pride is to a girls body-image, it's what makes her a woman and it is something she can make better or worse depending on her attitude and how much she learns. Look at how different people celebrate their first period http://www.moonbeamsorority.com

Include what to do when you get your period such as telling an adult, and learning about your body and period, try looking through this web site that is all about how parents can talk to their daughters about their periods, advice they'd give their teenage girls - http://www.womensway.ws

I'd also strongly suggest taking a quick look through this article from Scarletteen that is a guide to menstruation, I'm sure there is a lot of information you can use here - http://www.scarleteen.com/article/body/o...

Good luck!

pad/tampon, a scented bag, a paracetomol, change of underwear xD

Please don't consult the catholic church, as they will tell you that having periods is your own fault.
