Does Veet work well on legs and other areas?!

Question: I usually shave with a Venus razor. My legs turn out ok. My upper inner thighs always end up with razor burn and ingrown hairs that look gross! I also have been shaving my vaginal area and I end up with razor burn, red itchy skin and ingrown hairs. That too looks gross!! I have tried shaving with all of the suggestions I got from Y!Anwers, but none seem to help. I always end up with razor burn 'down there' and on my inner thighs.

I bought some Veet bladeless hair removal. It comes with the plastic razor thing and the creme.

Can you tell me if this stuff really works? Does your hair have to be longer then stubble for it to work? Can it give you razor burn? Is it safe to use on the hair that is on the labia? Is hot wax better ?

It does work, but a few notes. Veet removes hair by disolving some of the protein, weaking the hair and then it simply comes off. Thats all good, but that process can leave a chemical burn on some. I use Nair but its the same basic idea...

I use it on my legs and everywhere that has "normal" skin. On my lips tho, I use a little vaseline to cover the most sensitive parts so they don't burn. Then I put on the nair. It works well, and leaves just a little bit of hair to shave off.

It kind of works. I don't like it, it's a pain. Do not use it on the labia!!! Hot wax is better, but I suggest having it professionally done.

i used it and i started feeling a burning sensation really bad, and when i wiped off the creme' stuff.. granted there was no hair, but my legs were bright red and bumps all over them.
then, becuase i had these bumps, i couldnt shave for a good week and a half.

the first time i tryed veet i put it on everywhere and did jack, all it did was give me pain throughout the couple of minutes. That's why the way to go for me is the soup and razor,or no way at all.
