Um help plz?!

Question: I'm on birth control but its the week I'm off for a period. I start again this Sunday. This morning I started bleeding but it is really, really light to nonexistant. Earlier when I cleaned myself there was 3 blood clots about the size of dimes. Is this normal?? Does that mean something?? Should I go get it checked out??

No, sweetie, this is normal. Don't know how old you are, but before you are middle aged, you will experience all kinds of different periods, aches/pains, etc. It means nothing. Blood clots when it stays in one place a bit too long.

Hey, there are so many different reasons that our periods get goofed up!! If you've been sick, or been swimming and gotten cold and shivery...these things can slow down your flow just long enough for it to clot somewhat. Oftentimes you will begin cramps as your uterus is trying to push those little devils out.

Try not to worry.....all is normal. Next month will be something slightly different.

I am an RN

I think its normal, but go to the doctor just to make sure.

Yes you really need to go it checked out. Your blood could be clotting from the birth control.

that is most likely normal since your period is the shedding of the uterine lining and it is tissue coming out the same has happened to me before but if u r really worried it is abnormal go see a doctor no one knows your body better than u so go with you instincts

I have had to deal with spotting in between my periods too. Sometimes it's your pill that you're on. Mine was too low in estrogen. It could be as simple as changing your pill. Other things factor in it too...stress, your health. I would go get it checked out to be safe.
Good Luck!!
