yes. thiose symptoms could be either yeast infection or bacterial vaginitis.
you need to go to the doctor to be diagnosed. you can take antibiotics orally and use a certain cream to apply externally for itch relief. but you need to have it properly diagnosed before buying anything over the counter.

eat more yogurt or take acidophilus capsules, it is good for your girl parts :)

until youre cured, try avoiding sugary foods/drinks. and do not use any lotions, scented soaps or bubble baths.

GOOD LUCK!!

yes it is possible!! go see your doctor as soon as possible. you can take a 1 dose pill to clear it up. if you have a cottage cheese looking discharge, you most likely have one.

Just being itchy doesn't necessarily mean you have a yeast infection. Usually if you have a yeast infection you have discharge that sort of looks like cottage cheese, and your vagina gets red and swollen a bit. If you have those other symptoms then yes you probably have a yeast infection and no you can't leave it untreated, it is an infection. They have creams and stuff you can get at the drugstore. Otherwise, you might just have dry skin, or your underwear could be irritating.

i dont know ask ur mum to take u to the Dr. office!!!!!!=)

you have nothing to worry about. im below 15 and had an infection three days ago. i didnt want to go to the doc either cause NO ONE likes to stick stuff up there!!

wash gently with water and soft cloth

avoid tight pants or jeans, and wear joggers for 2 days

dont worry!!!!

if it gets VERY RED AND FLAKY i would consider a doctor!!

what the hells a flaky pu**y??

First of all, calm down., Don't get yourself all worried up. I'm glad you don't want "nothing up there" (lol) because that shows how good of a kid you are. Now, to get to the point. Yes, it is very possible for a 12 year old to have a yeast infection, but it could also be a Urinal issue, where something is wrong with your bladder. it's very common for women of all ages to get both a yeast infection and a Urinal issue, because it is the way women are built. Go to the Doctors and see what they have to say. If you tell them you symptoms they might be able to figure it out. I one or two dose pill can get rid of Yeast Infections and some medication can relieve any Bladder problem you could have. If they stick anything up you, I won't be to far, and won't hurt that much at all, I promise you. It might be uncomfortbale, but it's for the best. When it comes to something to do with your body you can't lie just because your afraid of something. That could lead to even bigger problems. so just try to relax and tlak to you mom asking her to call the doctors. See what happens from there, and Good Luck!

It is possible to have a yeast infection at 12 but like the others here said, you would expect a thick cottage cheese like discharge to go with the yeast infection.

It's possible you got a rash of some kind or a low-level bacterial infection instead of a yeast infection.

Honestly, don't worry honey. Just tell your mom about it. Sure it's embarassing but it shouldn't be because it's nothing bad itself, just where it is that's awkward to talk about.

First, you may want to try using witch hazel and zinc ointment or first aid cream (wear a pantyliner to bed) in the mosning and than at night this weekend and see if that helps.

If not, than you want to make a Dr. appointment. and don't worry about inserting anything. Yes some medications are as vaginal suppositorys but they are like liquid gel caps and very small. You can use then no problem. But you may be able to get pills instead. Either way, don't worry about it!

Good luck and I hope this helps :)

tell ur mom put some lotion up there and tell ur mom about im a doctor and lots of water and stay calm

yea it sounds liek u have an infection, or some minor irritation. go to a doctor they wont do anything but look at it ur too young to get a papsmyer or watever. they'll probably just tell you to get vagisil or some cream for your problem

It's possible.

It happens to little toddlers too.

You don't have to stick anything up there, it's unnerving, I know. There are some that come in pill form.
