Yeah...you can wear a pantyliner if you want, i think is best to wear it cuz you did say that you're having some discharge. So yes wear a pantyliner.
I wouldn't say to be safe, just to stay fresh. Carry some pads or tampons to be safe. Your first one probably won't be that heavy anyway.

Do what you want but that's a waste of material. When you get your period is when you should start wearing pads. Maybe carry just one around in your purse or bag for the time being. You could start your period in a year---you wouldn't want to wear pantyliners (they feel like diapers) for an entire year, would you?
Yeah, theres nothing wrong with wearing one.
This way you feel much more comfortable and prepared for when "it" happens.
wear a panty liner only if ur discharge is heavy
usually on ur first period, you dont bleed much and it just goes in ur panties, so bring an extra pair of underwear if you dont wear pantyliners

Pantyliners are a wonderful thing, especially when dealing with normal discharge. They are fairly in expensive too. I use them everyday, for the just in case. No harm can come from using liners. They help to keep a girl fresh feeling all day.
Yes if you are having discharge a panty liner will help you feel fresh. Your b/f sounds like he is a smart guy .
