Stretch marks, everywhere...?!

Question: OK well I am 16, and over weight, but not too over weight. I play a lot of sports, but I still carry some extra pounds. Well i have stretch marks on my lower back, love handles breasts (I'm only a 36A), and inner thighs.

UGGGH, i get so upset and angry at myself when i see them. I will NEVER lok god in a bikini again, like I feel like i have the UGLIEST body. I dont know what to do. I know they will never go away, but I'm 16 so in time will they fade? What can i do.

God I can't believe i did this to myself...

Don't say you did this to yourself. The marks on your lower back, love handles and chest, tell me they were as a result of a growth spurt, rather than weight. When you're growing in height, you sometimes hit a growth spurt. If you're like me (I am also covered in stretch marks, some from growing, some from weight) I get them very easily because my skin has very little elasticity.

If you leave them alone, they likely won't fade. I find with mine that even a light tan helps diguise them. I also use cocoa butter on them on a daily basis and this has severely diminished the appearance. They haven't gotten smaller or healed, the color just gradually gets closer to my natural skin tone and therefore they are much less visible.

I hope I have helped, and as I said... don't fret, it's not your fault.

They will fade in time. Weight gain and weight loss both cause stretch marks. Don't feel bad it, almost everyone has them.

I am 13 and have them on my breasts and thighs/butt. They are even from growing tall. They will fade over time.

The redness fades. Use some cocoa butter on them to help the texture. And stop being so hard on yourself.

omg...

i am 13 and I have the same problem!!!!! i feel the same way as you do... it makes me so i wont change in front of any one and i do NOT know what ill do when summer comes!!!! like other people say... im going to try cocoa butter.

Alot of teens do get them. Stretch marks can be obtained by growing rapidly. Because you are a teen, you are growing and that is probably why you got them. That's how I got them. I am 16 too and I have them on my thighs and I am not overweight. I recommend cocoa butter cream to moisturize and try to give your skin back the elasticity. The good thing is they will fade over time and possibly even disappear in most cases! And I don't think by any means you are overweight. It sounds to me like you are healthy and are trying to stay healthy, which is good. Try not to worry about, most people don't even notice them. If they are really bothering you, then see a dermatologist!
Hope I helped, Good luck!

Try using vitamin E oil on the stretch marks. That will help them fade.

Wow, I feel the EXACT same way.
I'm also 16, have stretchmarks in the exact same places and feel like I can never wear a bikini again.

First of all, stretchmarks WILL fade in time, but to speed up the process, I use a gel that is designed to fade stretchmarks and scars. You can buy them in basically any drugstore.
I also put cocoa butter on it, because I've heard it helps. I've also heard vitamin E is effective too, since it is used in getting rid of scars.
Don't blame yourself for your stretchmarks. It's certainly not your fault, its merely because you're growing.
Don't let stretchmarks taint your view of your body. There are solutions to getting rid of them, they aren't permanent!
I'm in the same position as you so I know exactly how you feel, so hopefully this helped.
