Pain killers work....or so ive herd.

One of the most popular answers on here is masturbation. Most say it works.

I've also heard masturbation works BUT there are cleaner alternatives to remedy cramps.

I usually get a washcloth and run it under hot (but not TOO hot) water and place it on my lower abdomen. Reheat it whenever it cools. Sip some tea while your doing the hot washcloth routine, too.

Hope this helps!

u can use those bengay hot pads put it on ur abdomen.. u can also use painkillers...or a hot bath

Well ,
I use a heating bottle .

But . you could get in a hot bath.
drink something hot..
and painkillers.

Heating pad, hot bath or shower, and Ibuprofen 600 mgs. every 6 hours. Good luck!

heating pads dont work
get midol

grab a heating pad, lay on you side, and kind of curl up...it works like a dream for me!!!!! also take premisin PMS i think you can buy it at walgreens and riteaid

Two words. Heating pad. Put it on the area between your bladder and the top part of your vagina (the skin part). My mom says it didn't help her, but she put it on her feet to keep her warm. Personally it helps me to keep were I mentioned above. Another great solution is to use midol. It has really worked for me in the past and every time I have my period I use it and it works. I do feel your pain though. I am 15 and during the first couple of days it is constant cramps and throwing up, but I just keep using the heating pad and midol and it goes away. Exercising though makes it worse for me.

I take some midol and then I warm up my tub with some bubbles and sit back and relax. Then my boyfriend joins me lol, anyway.. then after I am done, i dry myself off and then heat some hot water and after its warm enough, I put it in a hot water bottle and lay in bed and my boyfriend messages my feet, while I lay there... I try to my cramps of my mind. I also warm up either warm milk with honey or tea, don't drink anything freezing. Then I just take my time doing what I do, mostly go on my laptop and type answers on yahoo answers. When I was 12 I used to hug my big stuffed bear.

what works best for me is taking an ibuprofen AS SOON AS I WAKE UP on days that i have my period. somehow, it prevents me from having cramps.
it doesn't work the same if you take it later in the day, without taking it in the morning. like, once i start having cramps, it takes hours for the ibuprofen to kick in and make them go away.
but it seems like if you numb them before they even appear, you'll have no problem :)

A calcium/magnesium supplement would help.
