Is it possible to get pregnat on your period with a tampon in?!
Question: I know this sounds really odd....Im 21 my boyfriend and I were not planing this or nothing. I had a tampon in im on like my fourth day of my period. He put it in just a tiny bit a few times. I took my tampon out and there was nothing on it. I usally stop half way through my period for a couple of hours. then we had protected sex. Is is possible sperm could have gotten around the tampon? Or should that have blocked it from going any futher? Its not like we had sex with my tampon in or anything crazy like that.

Its probably just as well he only went a little way in...
But to move on to the actual answer - chances are you are fine. Several reasons - first off, most women are not able to get pregnant on their period. So, even with unprotected sex, you probably wouldn't get pregnant. Next, a tampon creates a rather dry vagina - sperm need a moist vagina to live. That dry environment would kill sperm before they had a chance. Third, he didn't ejaculate - while there is still sperm present they are in much fewer numbers.
Add all three factors up, and you have a better chance of winning the jackpot then of getting pregnant.

Most likely you won't become pregnant but it is possible sperm got around the tampon.... especially if he came inside of you... I'd get a pregnancy test if that happened
Well, first don't have sex with a tampon in at all, even a little bit. Bad idea. Take out the tampon if you want to have sex on your period.
Secondly, yes, there is always a chance of pregnancy if you have unprotected sex. The chance is minuscule, but you might as well get on birth control for the future.
Your uterus is shedding it's lining when you have your period. In it is an old unfetilized egg. After your period your uterus needs to rebuild it's lining before your ovaries put out another egg. So in short NO you can't get preggers. Now before you run another risk read up on the female body before an unwanted pregency happens.
I seriously doubt that you could have gotten pregnant while on your period ,with a tampon in there. I would'nt recommend letting him stick anything up there while you are wearing a tampon though. That could create other problems that you don't want.

A tampon would be at least a partial barrier to semen, so it would reduce the chances if you were at a fertile time of the month. However, I'm sure you know that a tampon is not useful to prevent pregnancy.
You can get pregnant at any time you have sex, or anything close to sex (penis at vagina, pre *** etc). Very small chance though since the tampon was in the way. You can get pregnant DURING your period as sperm can live then attach to the new egg.

Although it seem unlikely, it is actually possible to be ovulating and have your period at the same time, and it is possible that sperm could swim past the tampon- they are tiny after all. I do not advise having in "partial" sex when you have a tampon in as it could cause you to get an infection and if he goes too far inside, your tampon could get lodged between your cervix and your uterus. Wouldn't that be a fun one to tell the doctor... "Well, my boyfriend and I were only having sex a "little bit" and then I don't know, but it got stuck!" How embarrassing that would be!
its possible, but most likely it wont happen.. what i do know is you should never have sex with a tampon in.. even if he just plays around and doesn't put it in all the way.. the tampon could be pushed further in and then cause you some major problems... please do not do that next time.. use a condom for geez sakes!!!!
