I took EC and I'm very late on period?!

Question: Please, help.
I took EC and the around 3 days after I had blood coming out. I don't know if it's period or just bleeding? Last month (Feb.) I had my period on the 1st, and it is the 9th of March, I still havent got my period yet. What does this suppose to mean? Is this normal?

PS. I took this pill quite occasionally... but all of them are emergencies because of private reasons. Please, don't insult me. I didn't play around.

Thank you very much.

You dumped a lot of hormone into your system, and sometimes that causes strange symptoms - hormones are powerful things. Period irregularity directly after taking the pill is a common one.

It's also possible that you're pregnant. I don't know how soon after sex you took the pill, but waiting more than a day drops the effectiveness rating. Try taking a pregnancy test.

Also, if you're using EC "occasionally" (as in, this isn't a one-time thing) you might consider getting on the pill or another form of hormonal birth control.

Good luck.

They gave you a sugar pill. You're still pregnant! Your breast are preparing for your baby right now.

Question? Why not use birth control. I bet you use abortions as birth control
