Virginity issue....?!

Question: My friend Lea and I were debating the definition of being a virgin. I havent been pentrated yet [FYI]. When I told her I had performed oral she told me I wasnt a virgin any more...I dont view that as a loss of virginity. But as an act of foreplay.

Then a couple months later she gets done in the butt and gives and recieves oral but proclaims herself a virgin because she has done vaginal intercourse yet.

We then got into a debate on whether she was a virgin or not. She is 18 and I am 17 and we are both seniors in high school. Niether of us has had vaginal intercourse.

Its not that serious but I wanted to know what is your definiton of being a virgin?
Would you consider her a virgin?

reference to the movie clueless when dionne and cher are discussing technical virginity. i would guess that penetration of the mouth, anus or vagina constitutes sex for at least one of the participants.

a girl who gets "done in the butt" is hardly a virgin, and will not be a "techincal virgin" much longer.

a virgin by convention is one who has not had penis in vagina sex. but what about gay or lesbian teens? i guess they are forever virgins.

the definition of being a virgin ranges from culture to culture.. community to community... country to country.

In the end, whether you consider yourself a virgin or not does not matter to the person you will be with in the future because HE will decide whether you are a virgin just as you decide if HE is a virgin or not from the information given to each other.

A virgin in my opinion is someone who has not been 'touched' innocence is in their blood, never came close with a partner.

You may have not had sex but would the man you give your virginity feel as special if you did not do all those things before? Think about it.

I say both are virgins.. losing virginity is having vaginalll
