Are you scared to ask your Doctor too many questions?!
Question: I am, it seems like these days if you take up 2 minutes more of their time, the next thing you know they're sending you a certified letter in the mail saying you've been "dismissed" as a patient for being "difficult." What's up with that??????

If you don't ask questions you won't get better and a real doctor won't care if your a little outspoken or take up thier time because they CARE about thier job and people in general. I know what you mean. I've been sick and everyone just keeps passing me off and if you say anything to them they get scared and try to get rid of you or tell you not to come back. Most doctors are just staring at their watch for their 15 mins to run out so they can get in their next over booked patient. If your not in the statistics then no one wants to go out of their way for you, not even a little bit out of their way. I learned that you have to tell them how you feel about them (like I'm stupid for taking allergy advise from a allergist whos sneezing and nose is running right in front of me) if you don't like them, because I think the ones than are bad get really upset more so than most people because they think thier better than everyone else including other doctors.
That's terrible! Personally, I don't go to doctors. I don't trust their method / theory of medicine, but since its their job to help people you think they'd be more polite about it! I wish it wasn't all about making money but that seems what its like doesn't it?
Boy are you right, I get in the office get told I have 10mins so only tell her about the most important issues the rest can wait. I find the specialists just as bad or worse. In fact because my brother told his doc that he was losing to much work and ask the doc why his time was more important then my brothers he was told that his file would be at the front desk he could pick it up when he found another doctor. I mean it is an honest question we get 10mins and sit in the waiting room for 2 hours by no means was he rude to the doctor just asking a question. I have no idea where you are from but I know in Ontario they don't want us to go to emerg but what are we suppose to do, our hands are tied and we have no choice but to go or do with out proper health care.
I ask them what needs to be asked. That's what they're there for. That doctor was just rude. It's better that she finds another doctor.
