Answers: and will my breasts get bigger? nd can i get pregnant?

you only got it a week ago? normally they come about once a month but sometimes they can take a few months or even a year to come back. they take a long time to become regular. and your breasts will become more sensetive around the time your about to get your period, but they won't get bigger because of it. and yes you can get pregnant but only from intercourse

Your menstrual cycle should occur every 28-30 days, but when you are younger, and going through puberty, your cycle may be irregular.
If you are going through puberty, your breasts may very well get bigger. How big they get is determined by hormone levels in your body and genetics.
If you have had a menstrual cycle and you are sexually active, then yes, you can potentially get pregnant. If you are sexually active, your partner should always use a condom and you should consider birth control as well. Planned Parenthood is an excellent resource for these issues.

So from your question I understand it to mean this:

You had your period for the first time last week and now it's stopped?

So firstly, congratulations, it's an exciting step in your development!

The average menstrual cycle runs for around 28 days, with 3-5 days of menstruation (the 'period'). This means, you should expect a couple of days of bleeding every month or so. Expect it again in about 3 weeks then.

I am assuming you are quite young, so yes, your breasts will probably grow as you get older. You are now officially going through puberty! The amount of growth varies alot and you shouldn't really be concerned if you develop slower or faster than other girls, unless something really seems to be wrong.

You can get pregnant, so if you plan on being sexually active it is important to use some form of contraception. A condom is the only method that will effectively prevent STI's as well, so that is probably the best option.

Otherwise, take care and enjoy the changes in your body over the coming years - it will be scary and you will feel alone sometimes, but everyone goes through this and it's healthy and normal.

For the first year or two, your periods might be irregular. Anything between 2 weeks and 3 months apart.

Your breasts might get bigger, or they might not. They will probably be like the other women in your family.

You could get pregnant, especially if you get menstrual cramps. But having sex now will probably be more painful because you body isn't completely mature yet.

about 21 days give or take a few.

of course you can get pregnant it is the eggs that are being released so they can be fertilized.
