Wearing a bra to bed?!

Question: Now, I never wear a bra to bed, but this summer, my boyfriend is going to be spending two weeks at my house. We have never slept together before (holding each other sleeping, not sex), and we are going to be during that two weeks. I am a size 34D, and I don't want my boobs to be all over the place while we're both trying to sleep, so would it be okay to wear a loose-fitting sports bra to bed? I know it's not necessarily a good thing to wear a bra to bed, but I want to keep them in place.

I'm the same size as you and it's a pain to keep them from falling all over the place, haha. But I had the same problem when I first started sleeping over my boyfriends what I did was I would wear a thicker tanktop and a loose shirt, so you can't really tell you don't have a bra on because with a thick tank-top it covers everything and it's definitely much more comfortable than wearing a bra to bed!

no they need their freedom too

I say whatever makes you feel comfortable.

I wear a bra often to bed. It's not a huge deal to wear a bra to bed, even though some people say breasts need to breathe. I tend to disagree, because there is no scientific proof sleeping in a bra has any negative effects--long or short term.

i'd do whatever you're comfortable in.

It'll be ok. Make sure it doesn't cut in at the sides.

you shouldn't do that, it might restrict your breathing while sleeping....

Yes, that would be fine for you to do. It is uncomfortable for many women to wear them but is not a bad health choice as long as they aren't very tight. Since you are a fuller size, it will probably be more comfortable with the support.

There is nothing wrong with wearing a bra to bed. I broke my collar bone a few years back and had to wear a sling and taking my bra on and off was a real pain. My doctor suggested I only take it off in the mornings when bathing, to sleep in it because it would keep me more controlled and take off and put on a new one in the AM. It will not hurt you in the least bit.

I am much larger than you hun.. You will be ok.
Also, I commend you for thinking of his feelings. I'm sure it will be hard to sleep next to a woman that seems to care as much as you and not want her completely.KUDO'S for looking out for him.
