Why do some eyeliners smear RIGHT AWAY and some don't?!

Question: It could be the quality of the eyeliner you are
putting into use or it could be your own eyelid..
what I do is leave my eyeliner overnight
in the top fridge and the next day it is less
smudgy .. also you might want to consider applying
a little concealer on your eyelid and some eyeshadow..
that could be the case ... and when you are applying
your eyeliner don't press to hard when making your line..

You may have greasy eye lids.. one of my friends is 100% italian and has pretty greasy eye lids, and her eye liner smears all the time... I don't have greasy eye lids, and i've had a few that smeared too... I found that cheap eye liners are definately crap. I bought a more expensive one, and no smears at all... I also use liquid eye liner the top, and I use pencil on the bottom... if I didn't always poke my eye with the aplicator, I would put it on the bottom too... the liquid stays in place ALL day, and doesn't smear, and stays black and bold looking all day... give that a try. For pencil I use Almay... it works pretty well.

some may say that you get what you pay for. that cheap eyeliner smears before the $15 dollar stuff, not true! its is all in how you put it on.

apply a touch or foundation to your eyelid, apply your eyeliner and smooth it to get the look you want, then dust lightly with powder. the concealer smooths the surface to help the eyeliner go on easier and the powder sets it.

this works for lip liner too......helps keep the lipstick on and prevents it from bleeding and smearing as well.......it just takes some time to get it right.
