A bump down there.....?!

Question: I have a bump on my private area. I have gotten them before down there, its like a cyst. I went to the doctor and he said it was probaly a gland. by time i got to the doc, the bump had disappeared. They are always in the same spot, and i get one on each side.
Well i got one back. They never used to hurt, but this bump kinda burns when I touch it. It does NOT hurt any time and it might be burning cuz i have tired to exam it.
you can't see it, only feel it.
Any idea what it is.
I have only been with one guy, my fiance so i dont think it can be an STD as when we got together i made him get tested....

what could this be?

Sounds just like a cyst to me, i had one there for a while that i really panicked about, it hurt and burnt a bit if i touched it because of the swelling. It went away on its own though. I think peole tend to get them when its hot, or if theyre wearing synthetic underwear. Cysts can be quite deep down too - so you may not allways be able to see them. my best advice - try to stay ventilated!

I know someone who get's cysts down there and I think they either pop on their own or a doctor pops them. They don't happen very often on her.

it's weird that you can't see it. I was thinking an in-grown hair or something. I think your doctor is right, I had a cyst and couldn't see it, just feel it... but it wasn't painful. get it looked at again, as soon as possible... put your curiousity to rest!

It probably is a gland, especially if it comes and goes like that. You have glands all over your body, including that area - so it's not impossible. If you're really concerned I would go to the doctor and ask them to run tests (blood maybe) to make sure everything is okay with you.

since you cannot see it, only feel it, i agree with your doc its probably a gland. i would advise you to go to an urgent care before it goes down again and have it checked. since it keeps coming back, its possible you have an infection in your body thats causing it. its not normal, so get it checked.

hhhmmm, just wen u touch it it hurts, well dont n if they go then you shouldnt worry

get an emergency doctor visit next tym

If you shave your private area it could be ingrown hair. IDK. Maybe you should just let it be or go to a different more experienced gyno. Just suggesting.

sorry but can you say 100% that he hasn't been with anyone after you got together?
you need to see a doctor today (while you still have the bump) and get tested for std's

EDIT: lot's of guys are faithful but you never know and when you get the symptoms of syphilus it should make you wonder, that disapeaearing painless bump sounds like a sypahlis shanker to me.
i don't think he cheated on you but you should get checked

For one, he could be cheating on you and you should go back to the doctor and get another set of std tests. If it's positive for something he hasn't been faithful. Either way you need to go to the doctor and get a pap probably. Good luck.

its obviously its not an std. and dont listen to anyone, you should be able to trust your boyfriend fully and not be questioned about it.

and it probably is just a gland. i get the same thing and its just glands for me. cysts are very common in girls and a lot of girls get tons of cysts a year so it could also just be a cyst too. and as cysts arent normally dangerous i'd still get that bump checked, get a second opinion just to be completely sure.
good luck.

i wouldnt even try to guess what this is, but i will say that you should go to an STD clinic every now and then.

it doesnt matter if neither of you have ever cheated, there are still medical conditions that STD clinics are geared to diagnose that have nothing to do with cheating partners...oh and just an FYI some things can lay dormant and undetected till they decide to bloom, so dont just presume his last test is foolproof!
