Don't starve yourself. You can lose a lot of weight by following a few simple guidelines, though they do take discipline. Are you ready?

1-Stop drinkinig sodas. For the next three months it's milk, A cup of juice, and water, water, water. Take your weight, divide that number by two, and then drink that number of ounces of water PER DAY. It helps if you drink at least 12 oz. before every meal. This will help your stomach feel full, it is only the size of an orange.

2- Eat six meals a day instead of three. Crazy, isn't it? The trick is to eat only about ONE CUP of food at a time. Healthier is better, but this means you can have pizza with your friends, too. Just one slice. Wait at least two hours before eating again and--when you are hungry-- go ahead and eat again.

What this does, btw, is reset your metabolism. You are training your body to burn fuel more efficiently when you feed it small ammounts more often. If you watch toddlers, they eat like this. It is very, very healthy so your friends and family can help you out with it, too!!

Eat sunflower seeds, almonds, olives, or dark chocolate with every meal. Also, cook with Olive Oil. I did this and lost 10lbs in 2 weeks. It's called the flat belly diet. It really works! Check out the book. (No soda helps a lot too.)

When I was just a little bit older than you, about 15, I was about 175lbs and really wanted to lose weight. I talked to my parents and my mom joined weight watchers with me. It really worked! They have teen meetings you can go to and its a great program. I never felt hungry and you can eat pretty much whatever you want in monderation. I would definitely check out weight watchers. Its a great program.
