Discharge HELP!?!

Question: Okay well I have been having clearish discharge for about 1 year and a half.. it has also been like the same amount each day some days i get a little more but just regular stuff..

Now for about 1 week or a little less than a week i have been having barely any discharge at all! One day i don't even think i had any!

I am thirteen years old and don't have my period yet if this helps..

Is this fine? and does this mean i might come on my period soon?

Yeaa. you'll get it soon.

I think that you are just going threw a hormonial change and your period may be starting i would not make too big of a deal about it

good luck babe!

well me too!! its normal and you should probably get your period soon :)

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away. Some girls have it for 'years' before they get their first period, or just a few months before their first period.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.
