You could have a slight bacterial infection.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period

Could be a yeast infection or some other type of bacterial infection. Don't try to diagnose it on your own - go to the doctor and have it checked out. It's nothing to worry about; that sort of thing happens all the time, and there are lots of different causes that don't involve any form of sexual activity.

This sounds like an infection and you do not have to be sexually active for this to happen. You do need to see a doctor.

Yes I think you do need to talk with a doctor. Having this for months is not normal cleansing of your body. Also the odor and thickness of the discharge isnt probably good. Tell your Mom you need to talk to the doctor about this problem.

I would recommend you seeing a doctor and keeping your vagina ultra clean for the infection to disappear. This sounds like a bad infection which is getting worse. Hope you get this check out ASAP. Best of luck.

it sounds like to me you have a yeast infection, either go to the doctors and get his medicine or go to the store and ask the pharmacy people.
its happens when bacteria gets up in your vagina. ive had one once. its ok. its normal when going through puberty!

Its normal but if you want you can go see a doctor :)
