Sometimes my discharge smells like bleach?!

A couple of thoughts. Our vaginal secretion changes in consistency from thin and watery to more viscous and opaque depending on the time of our menstrual cycle. Assuming no infections or STDs, this discharge does have a certain odor unique to each woman and it is different in strength at different times as well. Is it possible (and I mean no insult to your intelligence asking this) that your panties have a detergent odor that is cross contaminating your vulva with this odor? If so, the natural odor could be overpowered some by a strong detergent like bleach or Tide With Bleach. I can, for instance smell bleach on my husband's bits when I'm down there when he has had on freshly bleached briefs just before. This odor on his skin is definitely different than the bleachy odor of semen you are referring to that I also have experienced.
Weird. Can't imagine why.
i think its normal mine does too right when im about to get my period.. i asked around to some of my girl friends happens to them too.. hmmm.. i think its pretty normal
