Should I be using condoms as backup for the nuvaring?!
Question: I'm using the nuvaring as my form of birth control. Should my boyfriend and I be using condoms? I've only ever been with him and he has a mandatory std test every 6 months because of his job (military). Think its ok to go without?

If you're using the NuvaRing specifically for birth control purposes, you'll probably be fine without condoms. If you are worried, though, about getting an STD, the NuvaRing has no STD protection so you'd definitely want to use a condom in that case.
Always better to be safe then sorry..
If you are not at a point in your life where you could handle an accidental pregnancy...then you should def use condoms as a backup. It is hard to enjoy sex if you are constantly worring about getting pregnant!
