How do I ask my mom for tampons?!
Question: I hate pads, so much! So I want to try tampons. I ordered a free sample of Tampax pearl and they came in like 5 days ago. I got those in perfectly and they didn't hurt. So I know I can wear them. But it just seems ackward... like "Mom, can you buy me tampons?" just seems to hard. My mom has been on birth control for 13 years so she doesn't have a period. (besides for one day every 3 months) So she doesn't have tampons I can use. I tried asking her at the store today, but I just keep stalling and like freezing up. By then, it was to late. So what do I do?

I was EXACTLY the same as you.. but I just asked her. It was realllllly embarrassing but I forced myself. It was so worth it, I only had to mention it once, and now she always buys me tampons. Try leaving a magazine open with a page about something to do with tampons, and see if she mentions it? Good luck!
just pick them up and put them in the cart when you are at the store. she gets it.
you could buy them yourself...or explain to her why you don't like pads....she might be helpful & understand.
just say mom i am tired of using pads and i tryied using a tampon beofre and it worked so can i buy some more plz? dont b shy with ur mom. she was littleonce andk nows alot that goes on in ur haed
....say "Mom, can you buy me tampons instead of pads?". It's that simple.
it may seem awkward, but you will feel so relieved after you ask. say like." mom i hate pads! can you please by me tampons??" i know she will say yes, and it wont be awkward after that.
Could you possibly go to the store by yourself?
If not, your only choice is to approach her about it. Repeat what you're going to say over and over in your head, and when you go to ask her, take a deep breath first. Then just get it over with. It won't be as bad as you think. Most likely, she'll just say "Sure! I'll pick some up for you the next time I'm at the store."
You're my will understand. Have a little talk with her, write her a note and give it to her at the store, or e-mail her.

best thing for you to do is go and speak to your mom while she is on her own and tel her you ordered a free sample of tampons and you prefer to use them rather than towels
your mom will not judge you your mom has been through it so she will understand dont worry about it she will be happy you told her
why cant you buy you're own?! you're not wanting anything illegal so just ask her. perhaps tell her about the free sample, and explain you have to buy them from now on. she'll understand!!

Next time you are at the store, be like I need more pads. [Something like that] and then you can both go over and then while you are there be like hey could I try tampons actually? I got some free in the mail and I figured out how to use them. They are better than pads. Can I get them instead? Or you can write it down if you want. If she has a shopping list just write down tampons. And she'll probably get the message! Good luck! Don't get discouraged or too scared, it's ok!!
if there is a dificultiy going and buying them yourself, or asking her in person, instead just write a note and give it to her while shopping, or wh?sper it to her. I doubt shed feel as awkward as you about the situation... i mean she did give birth already.
