Dark red discharge/spotting - what could it be?!

Question: I got my period Feb 27-March 4. Yesterday I started having a light red/pink discharge. I really didn't think much of it. Today the discharge started getting really dark red. My husband and I always use protection so I don't think it's a symptom of pregnancy. What else could it be? Is it possible that I'm starting my period again already? My period has never been on a normal, regular schedule but I always get it every 3-4 weeks. Does anyone know what this discharge/spotting could be? Thanks!

could be just spotting, irregular menstrual bleeding, etc...just go see the doc to make sure...last year i had my period for about 14 days straight, i had a normal period and then spotting for the remander of that time...went to the doc and he said it was just abnormal bleeding and nothing to worry about
get it checked, ull feel better but i wouldnt be too concerned
periods are very finicky, anything can set it off, stress, diet, meds, anything, its a tricky balancing act
good luck

knowing ur age would be helpful..pre-menopausal women sometimes do this and it is normal

Could be ovulation, I always get that around ovulation.
