Does anal sex hurt?!

Question: i need to know!

Answers: i need to know!

It won't hurt if you do it right. Always start small (finger, not anything bigger) and use lots, no, wait, LOTS of lube. Thick lube works best. The rectum (on the other side of the anus) has 2 jobs. It moves waste and reabsorbs water into your body. So when you put lube in there in order to have anal sex, it's going to do what it's supposed to - absorb water. This means you need to keep replenishing lube. No big deal. Keep it at the bedside :). If you are starting with an object (that doesn't have a person attached to the other end) make sure it has a flared bottom called a flange. This keeps it from accidentally going too far and getting sucked into the rectum. (happens ALL the time) This is why homemade dildos shouldn't be used anally, okay? A person comes with a flange built in :) A sensation of itching or burning or pulling means you need more lube. Also, the first few times your tolerance for the sensation may not last very long. Practice helps. It also helps if you are sexually stimulated (directly) during the penetration because it helps the muscles relax and creates a mental connection of pleasure for you.

Good luck!

Oh, check out the book Anal Health and Pleasure if this is something you're wanting to do for tips and a lot more help.

yes, the first time will hurt.

Use plenty of lube and relax, and then no it won't hurt

Yes. If you are asking that q you are probably not ready for it! Don't do anything you are not comfortable with.

i heard it does but personally i don't know because i never tried that

It can be uncomfortable, you needs LOTS of lubricant and your partner needs to go slow until you are comfortable.

First of all, don't do nothing you don't want to do. If you feel uncomfortable with the thought back off. If he loves you he will understand and give you time without rushing you.

The key is preparation:

First thing is to empty the colon. Use an enema at least 30 minutes BEFORE penetration. If you don't empty the colon you will experience pain and have a risk for rupture/lacerations of the colon or anus tearing. Just for illustration, fill a sock to the top with newspapers; now try to put your fist IN the sock to the toes... very hard to do. Now empty the sock and try to put your hand in. very easy with minimal expansion of the sock, If you use the enema your colon would not be stretched that much once you get the feces out of the way.

Two. LUBE, you can never have too much lube. Use a water based lube. DO NOT use Petroleum based lubricants or lotions such as baby oil or petroleum jelly. Go to an adult store or pharmacy, they have water based personal lubricants that will work fine. Have him apply it inside your anus with his fingers, very slowly. This will do two things, lubricate you and assist with relaxing the sphincter. Have him use one or two fingers for at least five minutes while he goes down on you or caress your body... just ensure he helps on relaxing your anus muscles.

Three take it easy and have him agree that when you say stop it means stop. You must control speed and depth of penetration or rhythm of encounter. For the first penetration try to push a little as if having a bowel movement, this will assist on relaxing the anus and ease penetration. He will enjoy if you tighten your anus after he penetrates.

I recommend he use a condom to prevent infections. After you finish ensure you both wash up very well. NEVER go from anal to vaginal sex without washing. This would be VERY DANGEROUS for you.

If you are concerned about STD's just ensure you have a clean partner.

Take it easy and have fun.
