I am a woman of 42 and lv my hsbnd what could I do fr my low sexl drv, do I need!

Question: You may be Pre-menopausal. Make an appointment to see your OB/GYN or General Practicioner and tell them what your symptoms are. They can do easy blood tests that most offices can run the sample to get the results while you are there. There are a few things that they may try. If your hormones are low, they may try a very low dose of Testosterone that can be injected every 3 months. There are also topical Testosterone cream that you can apply to increase your libido. Don't worry about bulking up like a man....the dose is very low but sometimes just enough to raise your levels to where they need to be. I had a similar problem with libido so I tried the injections but they gave me excrutiating headaches because in the long run, I discovered that it was not my hormones, just an unhappy marriage, lol. It may sound a little crazy but go to the local "toy store" together and pick out some fun stuff to try. Could be fun! But since you are 42, I would definately ask your doctor about doing bloodwork to check out your hormone levels. Good Luck!

You could possibly benefit from some hormone therapy. There are also some vitamin supplements which can help this out as well. Also, you could try to find the cause of your low sex drive. Lots of things, from stress to certain prescription medications can cause this as a side effect. Try something herbal if you like, or get ahold of your doc and discuss it with him. Don't be embarrassed, they hear it all the time.

GNC sells some supplements for women.Arginemax and steal libido are extremely popular and seem to work for many women. An amino acid called L-arginine increases blood flow to the clitoris and has been known to help.

Well, if you've never been physically active before now's the time to start. You probably do need hormones so check with a doctor (and feel free to get second opinions if you can afford it), but you should also get some blood pumping through your body. You'll be amazed how exercise can "awaken" your body. ; )

yes there are treatment for this .... I'd say talk to your doctor and s/he will prescribe the right kind of medication for you.
