So. Back to the body hair discussion. [Bikini area...]?!

Question: I usually just shave the hair off, like -all- of it because Nair is too scary to use on that sensitive skin. But the problem is... it grows back too darn fast and I'm nervous that when I'm sexually active I will have stubble and eww. Haha. Not cool.

So... with waxing... I know waxing the front part/bikini area is fine... but maybe this is just me... there is some hair like inside on the thinner skin... embarassing, I know. Is it ok to wax there too?

That depends on you, and you're not alone with the extra hair. (Don't worry, aestheticians at the spa and docs have seen it all!) If you want it all gone, ask for a Brazilian. If you want more than a regular bikini wax, but don't want the whole show, ask for a 'barely-there.'

Waxing will rip the hair out from the follicle instead of cutting it off at the surface, which is what shaving does. Although your hair down there is coarse, it'll be far less irritating when it grows back and you won't experience as many in-growns. If you decide to wax, pop an Advil a half hour before and stay away from the waxing just before your period; your skin is more sensitive around that time. When you make the appointment, ask for the BEST technician they have. It's painful, but a good tech will be fast and you will be hair-free much longer.

Yep. Brazilian will get rid of ALL hair.

Oh yeah. I wax there sometimes! It HURTS. I get a brazilian where they take it ALL off (or sometimes leave a landing strip). However, I get lazy sometimes and get stubble (or uhhh....more....lol). My fiance doesn't really care, but I was embarrassed about hair when I first met him. Do what makes you happy, MOST guys are not as super freaky about it as we think. Most are just happy to be with you and hmmm...sexually active!

waxing hurts, stubble can actually increase friction and sensation

ouch! but guys like me really appreciate the results..fyi : )

Go to a professional bikini waxer. if they mess up you can sue them on subsequential damages. You will never be able to have a child or have sex. +D But its ok if girls have some hair down there, It shows that they are human and not a blowup doll. My favorite is the racing stripe.

It's fine to wax everywhere but maybe book into a salon for your first time so you get used to the technique.
Shaving is fine though, unless you're dating an idiot who thinks women are born smooth. most guys realise that hair will grow back and anyone worth your attention wouldnt care!

is ok to wax every where.
some guys like hairless and some guy like hairy. and some just a little hair. it all depends.
just as long as you dont like have a bush youll be fine when you have sex.

Go to a waxing salon and have it done professionally. No chance of hurting yourself that way. Check out this link on brazilian waxing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_w...

yup ever heard of the Brazilian wax, that takes ALL the hair away

yup that's called a brazilian wax

Yep - you can get Brazilian waxes that take care of it all - the whole way back to the butt crackage. But I'd recommend electrolysis for permanent hair removal!

It is fine to wax it the question however is DO YOU WANT TO? It's a very sensitive and delicate area. I dont think i would need to tell you that it would hurt like hell.

If you know that you have a very high threshold for pain then go ahead.

yeah
well it is your choice. i mean either you have stubble which is no big deal. you would be so into it he wont even notice. or you can never have kids or sex again. i think stubble is fine.

its ok to wax anywhere
