Question about spotting and the pill?!

Question: i was on birth control for about a year and a half, and i was off of it for about a month (because making the gyno appointment took forever =P). any who, i am in my second week of being back on the pill and i have been spotting quite frequently. nothing ever comes out onto my underwear or anything, but whenever i wipe after going to the bathroom, there will always be a twinge of pink.
im wondering your opinions or suggestions. can this just be my body adjusting to the pill again?

thanks :)

Did you have sex during the time you were off the pill? You could be pregnant. I had a friend who skipped a couple of pills in one month and got pregnant. She didn't know she was pregnant and continued to take the pill. She had a light pinkish red discharge and cramps. The doctor told her to get to his office right away. Turns out that she was pregnant and she was at a high risk of having a miscarriage. The doctor told her to stop taking the pills immediately. A month later, she was still pregnant and no more spotting or cramps. My advice to you is to call your doctor and tell him what is happening. It could be your body is confused because you were off the pill for a month and then started taking them again. Rather then worry, just call and talk to your doctor.
