I had unprotected sex the day before my period?!

Question: I know bad choice, right.

But I'm on the pill, but also unfortunately on a medication that lessens the pills effectiveness drastically. He pulled out before he came, but I know that there is still that possibility.

It's been nearly a month but I haven't missed my period yet so I'm wondering if it would even be possible to feel symptoms. I have been having VERY unusual cramps to the right of my belly button. (and it isn't gas, but it is sort of a cross between trapped gas and menstruation cramps). This has been going on for several days, and occurring rather sporadically.

All I can think is that I'm pregnant. I'm too scared to take a test right now. Do random odd cramps occur in early stages of pregnancy? Is this common at all?

Are you nauseous, breasts getting tender, tired?

You could be pregnant, you could have an ectopic pregnancy (the embryo attached in the fallopian tubes instead of the uterus), or you could just be stressing yourself out and your body is manifesting physical symptoms.

Bottom Line? Take a pregnancy test, if it's positive schedule an appointment with your OBGYN and discuss your options.

Good Luck, (and next time-use a back-up method of birth control anytime you are on any medication that you know is going to reduce the effectiveness of the pill....)

the longer you put it off the harder it will be to put right.take the test right away that way at least you will know and decide your next step.come on if you are old enough to have sex surely a test is only a formality get on with it babe.

Theres no way you could be pregnant because the day before u had sex, the lining in the womb would have already started to collapsed and form the blood u get during ur period. there should be no problem.

Maybe your cramps are a sign of ovulation(it sometimes hurt). I said this because under the circumstances that you describe is really hard to get pregnant. First you ovulate around 14 days after your period, and only like a day. The pill might lose its effect but still it does something and he pulled out also; it is very very unlikely to get pregnant if he pulls out is like a 3% Chance and only if you are ovulating which you weren't. Wait until the day of your period arrives and if it's late for 4-5 days take the test. Good luck!
