How painful is the surgery to have your tubes clipped?!

Question: I'm having surgery tomorrow to have my tubes clamped at the ends since I don't want another child. It's going to be done with a hole near my belly button and a small scope. The dr acts like it won't really hurt, but other women say it's very painful afterwards. I'm curious to hear of an experience with the same kind of surgery. I'm pretty scared.
Thanks.

my mom got it done she went in an out of the hopital the same day. they went in through her belly button. she said she felt pretty good about 4 days later. just make sure ou dont want any kids cuz its almost irreversable and cost her abot 6,000. there is a chance you can bleed bad but there not a bigrisk look up tubal ligation risks.

For the procedure itself, you're going to feel couple of needle pricks when they numb your skin.
The action of tubligation or getting your tubes tide, shouldn't be painful either.

I haven't heard of any post procedure pains. Nothing some Advil or Tylenol couldn't help.

It does not really hurt. They will give you some pain meds. As long as you get up and walk around and keep moving you will be fine. If you lay around and don't move you will be sore. I had this done and I walked and walked and was fine. Nothing more than a period cramp at most. When you are discharged if you need pain meds they will give you some. Good luck!
