How old do you have to be to get a breast implants?!
Question: I'm about to be 16 and I really want to get surgery on my breasts. I do not like them, at all. They are very uneven and in my opinion saggy, and that's just now how they should be at 16. If I could get my moms permission would they do the surgery now?

Most reputable surgeons will not do it before you are 18 unless there is a physical abnormality that is significant. Most womens breasts are slightly different in size so don't worry. Also remember that your breasts are probably not done growing. They could continue to be defined in shape and size for another 2-3 years. Also keep in mind that breast implants will affect future mammograms. I know at 15 breast cancer is not your top worry, but you should be aware that it is much more difficult to detect with implants and with the rise in breast cancer rates it's important to know. It's also important in case you have a family history of the disease.
Please think again before contemplating this major major surgery. It is not just like going to sleep and waking with larger more beautiful breasts. You are put to sleep, a tube goes into your throat and a machine breathes for you. Then the actual procedure is done and is not a gentle process. Then you wake up, bruised and sore from your waist to your neck. And that lasts for 2+ weeks. Recovery is painful. The whole thing is not as glamorous as it seems.

Wait until you're at least 21. I'm 18 and my boobs are still growing. You never know what's going to happen in the future.
You have to be 18 for the surgery, I know some places do take 16 year olds with parental permission, but, honestly, if my 16 year old walked up to me and asked me for breast implants, I would laugh and walk away. I'm sure your breasts are fine, PLUS, they DO NOT stop growing until you're around 21! If you change them now, you could really mess them up, when you're older, you could have disfigured breasts, and either live with it, or have fake breasts all of your life, which, btw, cost a lot of money to maintain since you have to change them every 5 or so years. It's a bad idea, just don't do it.
I know in most places you have to be 18 to get breast implants. Your breast aren't fully developed until that age, although they may look like they are. There's a lot of risk in getting implants before the age of 18 and before they're fully developed.
wait until you're 18 and you'll have a much easier time finding a doctor to do the procedure...
it depends on if u have a seriuos health problem or u just want them changed. if u have a problem( such as cancer) they would do it as soon as possible. if u just want to get them changed, i think 21.
With your mom's permission, yes...but why don't you wait until you are an adult and finished growing?
With parents permission you CAN get them done.
in the uk yooh have to be 18
but if you are really tht desperate yooh can go over to america to get it done but the doctors there will need to see that you are mature enough to have it done. also yooh have to make sure you get parental persmission
16 give yourself a chance to finish growing, do some exercises that can tighten up the muscles above your breasts, you will see that does help.
At 16 you are not full grown. Wait a few yrs and see what you think, is damned painful surgery and you will have scars that never go, and you have to have them replaced they are not for life.
I hope you have a medical condition to justify your desperate need of having silicone inside your body. Don't forget you should never underestimate the dangers of any surgical procedure, no matter how 'routine' that has become.
They will probably not let you do anything until they know you are not going to grow anymore. You will probably have to wait until you are 18.
I watched one of those "Plastic Surgery Before and After" shows recently and a 15 year old young woman had breast reduction surgery, so age is not a factor when the parent gives consent. What the factor is: finding a plastic surgeon who specializes in breast implants willing to perform your surgery. You'll have to do some research. When I need research on a doctor, my first step is always to ask my family doctor who he recommends. Your mom will no doubt want to be in on this process, too.

You can get a breast-REDUCTION done at some places with a parent consent, but I don't know about an implant..You shouldn't get that done until you are older and through growing!!
