It is possible to ovulate twice in a month, however on the pill you should not ovulate at all (that is how it protects against pregnancy). If you ovulate, you can get pregnant, plain and simple. Sure, the pill doesn't prevent ovulation 100% of the time (that's why it's only 98% effective), but it would be extremely rare to ovulate twice in one month on the pill (and, if you do, I'd either switch to a different pill or start getting that nursery ready).

The discharge is probably due to hormonal changes throughout the month rather than ovulation.

rare but possible

you ovulate about every 30 days...so im guessing its just regular discharge.

There are women who double ovulate. Its usually a genetic thing.

nope!

It is certainly possible to double ovulate, or even spontaneously ovulate at any time.

Not as common, but it does happen. I have a child who is the result of a spontaneous ovulation. :)

The pill prevents ovulation.

See your doctor.

If you are on birth control pills, you should not be ovulating at all. The function of a birth control pill is to trick your body into thinking you are pregnant so you DONT ovulate. If you are still ovulating, you might want to look into an alternate form of birth control.
Yes, it is possible to ovulate twice in one month.

yes some women ovulate twice, but not women on the pill. the birth control pill stops ovulation from occurring.
EDIT: yes, some women do ovulate, but that usually happens when they skip pills or the hormone level is really low and doesn't block the ovulation. generally, no, women do not ovulate on the pill. the pill tricks the body into thinking it's pregnant, and women don't ovulate when they are pregnant. sure, it happens very rarely, but it's not normal. ideally, the pill stops ovulation so there is no egg to be fertilized.

If your taking a combination pill you do not ovulate. Those are the majority of the pills on the market. It for some reason you chose a mini-pill, which only has progesterone, then you would still ovulate. Not many people take the mini pill. So it all depends what kind of pill are you taking??
