Why did sex hurt more than usual?!

Question: Me and my boyfriend have sex like every other day, probably twice a week. But when we did it last week, it hurt more than usual? Does it hurt when you are pregnant?

Not usually. Maybe you weren't as lubed up as usual, maybe you had done it to much in the days before, or this time it lasted longer than usual or something along those lines. I would also say maybe you are starting to develop a yeast infection, that can make it hurt like heck. Are there any other symptoms? Try to take it easy for a few days and see if things go back to normal. Good luck!

no

no i would go see ya GP if but you cant be pregnant cause you not be wet enough not being funny or anything

Every other day does not equal twice a week.

It shouldnt hurt at all. I mean it 's understandable when you have a 12 hour sexfest but doing it every other day, no. Same goes for when your pregnant. If your not 'warmed up' enough perhaps there is too much friction going on which can cause pain. If thats not the case I'd go to a doctor to check it out. Better to be safe than sorry.

It depends on where you were hurting! If inside it hurts, perhaps you should change your position, if on the outside, you need more lubricant. Perhaps you were anxious about something and weren`t relaxed enough. It shouldn`t hurt when you are pregnant.

Hang on - hurts more than usual?

Sex shouldn't hurt at all!

Pain is your bodies way of telling you that something is wrong, so unless you are actually meaning it to hurt (some people are aroused by pain during sex) sex shouldn't ever hurt, not even if you were pregnant. Sex should always be a pleasurable experience, if it hurts then you are loosing out on a lot of pleasure and it suggests something is wrong.

Often in younger women pain during sex is because they do not have enough sex [foreplay] before penetration, which is important for pleasure also it gets your body ready for penetration by making the vagina moist, relaxed and lengthening it. This is one of the reasons it is so important to learn about sex and your body prior to having sex so you know what is wrong if you experience pain, or at least so you know that pain during sex is not 'usual'.

Sometimes sex can be painful if the woman isn't aroused enough, or often women will feel pain deep inside their vagina similar to period pains if their partner hits their cervix during sex which can happen more at certain times of your menstrual cycle when your cervix may be lower down in your vagina or in different positions where it is easier to be hit.

If it is hurting you then that is your bodies way of telling you that something is wrong, so you need to stop and find out why it is hurting you. Please go and see your GP to find out what is wrong.
