Im 14 how many pounds will i lose if for a week i.....?!


Question: just drink bunch of water and only eat nutro grain bars and not workout at all lol and no i dont wanna be a anerexic oh hell no i just wanna lose like 5 pounds thats all

Try not to judge weight loss by what's on the scale. Eating only nutragrain bars will not only give you some nasty vitamin deficiencies, but also will slow your metabolism down. Crash diets will only make you feel sick and cranky and you're very likely to gain it all back and then some when the "diet" is finished. Try to find plant-based foods to give your body some fiber. Whole grains, nuts, fish, all good! Just try to eat a lot of fresh, unprocessed foods and, for some people, it helps to just eat small amounts over the course of the day. Stay away from sodium, it will make you feel 10 pounds heavier. Establishing muscle mass will give you a leaner and healthier appearance regardless of what you weigh. Getting active every day will definitely help and exercise can be an appetite suppressant:) Rather than weighing yourself, take a tight pair of jeans and try them on now and then. That will give you a better indication of how much fat you're losing.
Keep in mind why you're wanting to "lose weight" and why this specific amount. We're instilled with this bodily dissatisfaction at birth so make sure you have the right knowledge behind you to keep your body healthy.

dont do all of that just to lose 5 measly pounds. eat normally, and just work out for 30 min a day. jog outside/around the house, do crunches etc.

i think you should eat normally because is not healthy to starve. exercise ... come on your 14 !!!!

You are 14 don't worry about it. Most important if you do the things you asked about; you will mess up your body key levels. Eat reguarly and excersise, plus drink lots of fluids and eat the veggies/fruits try for 7 serving a day and then up to 9 a day for optimal health. All the nutro grain bars have is sugar just like 98% of the other bars. That will not do a thing for you. It would be counterintuitive.

If you're overweight (medically - not skinny but think you're fat, really overweight), if you diet properly you should lose between 5 and 10 pounds in the first week - it's mostly water weight.

1) DO NOT drink "a bunch" of water. Drink the normal amount of fluids. Drinking too much water can cause problems.

2) Stay away from junk food - like "nutrition" bars - they're full of carbs. Eat raw veggies - lettuce, celery, cauliflower, broccolli, tomatoes ... and a little protein - 3 ounces a day is enough for a human being on a diet.

3) Green tea helps with weight loss, but it's not mandatory - drink it if you like it, instead of some other fluid.

if you eat like that, you will probably lose 5 pounds, regain it, and 5 pounds more.

those diets just don't work. it was your bad habits that got you where you are, and you need to start new healthy habits.

ps, lots of people never lose those 'last 5 pounds' so set reasonably goals for yourself
