What are the odds of getting pregnant after a tubal ligation?!
Question: I had a double tubal (two cuts, each tube) done in March of 2003 and things seemed to be fine since then. In February of this year (08) I had a colposcopy done for an abnormal pap...now here I am over a month later...late, sick to my stomach, breasts hurt, cranky, tired, everything smells WAY stronger and it makes me gag...it is NOT adding up. what are the chances that something happened during the colposcopy to make things "open up" again...or that the plumbing just started working 5 years later? my boyfriend had fertility tests done years ago when he was married and he's very fertile...i know i'm very fertile because my other two pregnancies happened right away...what are the chances that this is a flu that makes you sick and not have the fever/chills/aches? ugh...there's a reason i had the procedure done 5 years ago...if i am prego this kid must be meant to end world hunger or cure cancer...

Depends on the doc who does it and the technique used- about 1 in 15,000.
There is nothing done during a colpo that would reverse this procedure :-)

Uh oh.I had a tubal and got pregnant.They say the tubes can work back together after some years.Mine were permantly done.
hello, no u r not pregnant. your tubes were done in 2003 & now it's 2008 so not a chance at all. so relax. i could be coming down with the flu. or better still u could be going thru menopause. the symptons r the same as getting your period. so u r not prego. bb
I would say that your chances of becoming pregnant are slim and none.
